 Amy Poehler (American actress, comedian and voice artist) is a voice artist, comedian and actress with an estimated net worth of $22.5 million. Her most prominent role is that of Parks and Recreation, an NBC comedy. She has also been in a variety of films. Her fame started in the form of "Saturday Night Live". Amy Meredith Poehler was born in Newton Massachusetts on September 16 1971. Her parents Eileen and William Poehler were both school teachers. Greg, Amy's younger brother is an actor and producer. Amy grew up in the Boston suburb of Burlington, Massachusetts. Amy fell in love with acting at the age of 10, when she played Dorothy in her middle school's "The Wizard of Oz". She was active in the drama department at high school, as well as being a member of the Student Council, and an player on the softball and soccer teams. She graduated from high school in 1989 and was enrolled in the nearby Boston College. Amy was member of an improv comedy team during college. In 1993, she received her degree from Boston College.
