Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian actor and TV host. Her most well-known work is the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. As the only children from Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered showbiz early and landed up acting in lead roles on various TV dramas before she reached the age of 16. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also critically acclaimed. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Through the years, Alexandra was involved in numerous noteworthy national and international projects. These include British biographical films like Control and The Dust of Time as well as French historical miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she has been a juror at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in the Cannes Film Festival.
