Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. They relocated to Oxfordshire in the year she turned five and enrolled in an academy called the Dragon School. Emma was six years old when she realized she wanted to pursue a career as an actress. She studied for a number of years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a Part-time theatre school located in Oxford where she studied acting and singing. Through a school play as well as a Stagecoach production, Emma took as the lead role at age 10, and acted. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000), the film adaptation of J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was filmed for very first time back in the year 1999. Casting agents found Emma via her Oxford theater teacher. David Heyman announced to Emma that after eight consecutive auditions, she as well as Rupert Grint were chosen as Hermione and Harry Potter. The debut of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's first cinematic screen appearance. It was the highest-grossing film of 2001 The film broke records for its debut day opening and its opening weekend earnings. Reviewers were awed by the performance of the film as well as its story. The Daily Telegraph in Britain and the Daily Telegraph in America, widely read the newspaper, described her performance as outstanding. Later Emma was nominated for five prizes for her work in the film and was awarded an award called the Young Artist Award for Leading Actress Young in a feature Film.
