Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. His career began with performances in television shows like Opposite Sex in the year 2000. In the following years, he appeared in numerous teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of the Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans also appeared in the film adaptations of comics and graphic novels: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim against. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). The film gained him more recognition due to his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War as well as the ensemble film The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). Within the Marvel universe, his role as Captain Steve Rogers and Captain America earned him the title of most highly paid actor in the world.
